Who should apply?
Ideal candidates for the PGDip are individuals with leadership aspirations and a background in a relevant field. While prior management experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Applicants must hold an NQF Level 7 qualification.

Programme Delivery
Our Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration is delivered entirely online, allowing flexibility for working professionals. You will learn from distinguished lecturers who bring a wealth of experience from both the business world and academia. This part-time programme spans one year, with modules taught from Monday to Thursday, 6 PM to 9 PM, over a three-week period.
Modules
Accounting for Managers
Aim: Develop an appreciation of accounting’s role in firm performance, including financial statement analysis and management accounting for decision-making.
Content: Financial information for decisions, analysis of financial statements, predicting financial distress, cost concepts, budgeting, performance measurement, and social and environmental reporting.
Economics for Managers
Aim: Equip learners with both theoretical and practical economic skills.
Content: Understanding macro and microeconomic concepts, tools for economic analysis, and applying these tools in business environments.
Principles of Business Leadership and Management
Aim: Provide a comprehensive understanding of management and leadership principles.
Content: Management principles, organizational structure, business decision-making, leadership theories, ethical leadership, and the global business environment.
Business Research Methodology
Aim: Enable learners to design and conduct a research project addressing business problems.
Content: Topic selection, literature review, research questions, sampling, data collection and analysis, and research paper preparation.
Marketing for Managers
Aim: Prepare managers to make informed marketing decisions.
Content: Market research, consumer behavior, marketing mix, branding, services marketing, and electronic marketing.
Theory and Practice of Entrepreneurship
Aim: Provide a solid foundation in entrepreneurship theory and practice.
Content: Creativity and innovation, entrepreneurial environment, opportunity identification, business models, and ethical entrepreneurship.
Management Information Systems
Aim: Integrate information systems and technology with business operations and strategy.
Content: Data, information, and knowledge management, types of information systems, electronic commerce, systems design, and information ethics.
Organisational Behaviour
Aim: Understand individual and group behavior within organizations and its impact on performance.
Content: Theories of organizational behavior, individual and group dynamics, communication, leadership, organizational culture, and change management.
