In this rapidly changing world, businesses need graduates, professionals and entrepreneurs to not only understand business concepts but to have the practical business acumen to thrive in any business environment. 

The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration is designed for individuals with leadership potential looking to enhance their theoretical and practical knowledge as well as skills in the field of management. 

Who should apply?

Although advantageous, students are not expected to possess any prior management knowledge or skills. Work experience, however, is essential for students to understand and apply the skills and knowledge obtained in the programme. Applicants must hold an NQF level 7 qualification.

Programme Delivery

The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration is delivered online and delivered by lecturers who are champions in their respective fields. These experts bring a wealth of knowledge and skills acquired both from the business industry and in academia.

The programme serves as a bridging programme to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and related management fields.

The programme is offered in part-time mode only, over one year. Each module is delivered online from Monday to Thursday, from 6pm to 9 pm over a 3 weeks period.


The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration comprises of eight modules that are facilitated by distinguished academics and experienced practitioners from the industry that hold a minimum of a doctoral degree. Modules list:

  • Economics for Managers
  • Accounting for Managers
  • Organisational Behaviour
  • Management Information Systems
  • Marketing for Managers
  • Theory and Practice of Entrepreneurship
