Dr Shamim Bodhanya is an academic, researcher, scholar-practitioner and consultant. He has over 14 years of industrial experience followed by 22 years of academic, consulting, and training expertise. Shamim is the Editor of Large Scale Systemic Change: Theories, Modelling and Practices, published by Nova Science in 2016. He has numerous publications drawing on inter-disciplinary systems research spanning business, management, leadership, agriculture, public health.
He teaches a range of subjects all underpinned by systems thinking and complexity theory. These include system dynamics, strategy, leadership, innovation, design thinking, futures thinking and personal mastery.
His research and application interests are trans-disciplinary, working with and modelling real world complexity. Applications includes strategy, leadership, organisational development, and policy and development in general. He teaches and applies systems thinking with a focus on system dynamics modelling, especially the application of serious games utilising system dynamics modelling. He supervises doctoral students in system dynamics.
