Professor Ana Martins served as Interim Dean and Head of the Graduate School of Business and Leadership between 2018-2023. She joined the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2016 and holds a PhD in Leadership, Organisational Behaviour and Information Science; she has a Competent Manager Diploma and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Communication Sciences and History of Art.
Professor Ana Martins has over 100 publications which include articles published in international, peer-reviewed journals, chapters in edited books and international conference proceedings. She is a reviewer for various international peer-reviewed journals. She has supervised to completion, and examined numerous Doctoral and Masters students. She also serves as a member of International Accreditation Agencies and external reviewer for quality assurance of academic programmes in Higher Education entities, national and international. She is a member of editorial boards and reviewer of several Journals which are part of the Scimago Journal Rankings.
